The British princess of Arfon, Wenneveria, helps her father by managing the preparations for war against the invading Saxons. Wenneveria combines a heart of care and compassion with a spirit of courage and fortitude. Throughout the war between the savage Saxons and her people, Wenneveria faces a host of personal horrors from deception to treachery.
