Setting up the Hall

            Today is my birthday, and Shannon and I have started to do the embroidery on Wenneveria’s purple dress, which she will wear in the hall scene Saturday. It is not hard to do, just very time consuming. Dad built a large fire in one of the stone fireplaces, and we have been working by it. Aunt Tracey and Lisa have spent most of the day shopping for the food for the feast tomorrow. Tomorrow—that sounds so scary. The hall looks good, but it’s not done. The costumes are almost organized, but not quite. The embroidery has not even worked its way around the neck, and the sleeves have to be done as well. YIKES!
 

            This afternoon, Johnny Adkins showed up to get acquainted with us and with the camera he will be using tomorrow. He is going to run one of the cameras during the filming. Sometime later the Hill family arrived. Mr. Hill and David are helping with sound, and Mrs. Hill is very helpful in the kitchen. It has been raining since Wednesday, and we are praying that it will stop, so that we can do the filming tomorrow. It is now two o’clock in the morning, and Shannon, Lisa, and I are in the camper trying to finish the embroidery on the princess’s dress. I can hardly hold my eyes open any longer.
