"Bring wood and oil!"

Erik Dewar is currently studying Music Education at Oakland University. Erik enjoys singing and playing his cello, and someday hopes to be a teacher and music pastor.

His role as Brotus (Artos’ companion) was much bigger than he had first anticipated – “I've always been a big movie fan, so when Aaron asked me to be involved with this project, I was very excited. I didn’t realize at first that I was going to be more than just an extra, but after a few scenes with speaking parts, I began to be suspicious!”

One of Erik’s most memorable film shoots was at the Atherton's home in Indiana, during which the team spent nearly a week filming horseback scenes.

No matter how tense the situation, Erik always added some needed humor to the set – although he and Aaron could sometimes make a dangerous pair! One of his important contributions was introducing the group to Rockstar energy drinks, which soon became a vital part of the many all night shoots.

Looking back on the whole experience, Erik is grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of such an epic endeavor, and always enjoyed the fellowship with everyone on set. “Not that it was all just fun and games, but in light of all of the work that everybody else did, I guess I had it pretty easy! If I wasn't a part of the scene at the moment, I would usually sneak off with Peter and Nathan to record our own little videos…”
